About us - If you must know, my wife and I have always wanted to live in the country. It has been a dream of ours for many decades. We both had jobs that brought us into the inner cities no matter where we lived. When given the chance to move out here it was dream come true. Our backgrounds have always included growing plants and vegetables. We loved growing tomatoes, cilantro, cucumbers and jalapenos in our backyard gardens when we where first married. We kept asking what should we do with this land? We don't want to spend our lives just mowing it. We really wanted to do something good. We want to be good stewards of this beautiful blessing. We wanted to share our love of fresh fruit and vegetables with our boys, friends and neighbors. Twenty-four years later we are raising two wonderful boys that are growing into fine young men. With the hope someday they might do the same for their families. Mean while we have great neighbors and have made a bunch of new life-long friends.
